Relationship-Expert-Guy-Blews SELF WORTH
Relationship Expert and Life Coach Guy Blews on SELF WORTH:
We all know that SELF WORTH is an essential part of any successful life.
We also know that our own SELF WORTH is too often wrapped up in other people’s lives – which makes no sense.
SELF WORTH should do what it says – you should value yourself, no matter what… no matter what others think, no matter what job you have, no matter what car you drive, no matter what happens in your life’s journey, no matter what it takes…
This does not mean that you should be an obnoxious, self-righteous egomaniac…
It means you should value and excel at what you do, no matter what it is that you are doing.
Too many times, I deal with clients who are co-dependent upon their partner, or totally dependent upon their financial position, or completely independent of any form of independence.
If you are not able to be proud of who you are, then you have no SELF WORTH.
If you are not able to stand up for yourself, then you have no SELF WORTH.
If you need someone else to complete you, then you have no SELF WORTH.

Unfortunately, from childhood, we are bred to be dependent instead of independent.
- We are sold the fairy tale of marriage and children as the route to happiness…
- We are fed the lie that marriage is the ultimate validation for any relationship…
- We are miseducated into thinking that other people define us…
And then what happens?
Weakness. Neediness. Expectation. Desperation. Divorce.
If we were able to separate ourselves from the illusion…
If we could accept the reality of human nature and live within the realms of that reality, then we would have far better, far more successful, far longer relationships that created stronger, healthier, happier children…
If we stopped chasing the lies we were sold, then we could enjoy the life we create.
SELF WORTH is built on independence.
SELF WORTH thrives on individuality.
SELF WORTH excels with thought.
SELF WORTH accepts that we are capable alone, yet able to work as team.

If this is the case, then why would anybody stay with somebody who does not make them feel good?
If this is the case, then why would anyone become reliant upon anyone else?
If this is the case, then why do so many women use marriage as a way to provide themselves with a lack of SELF WORTH?
Being dependent upon someone else is not sexy…
Being relied upon by someone else becomes an irritation…
Being weak and needy is the best way to endure unhealthy relationships…
Being independent and capable is the best way to have SELF WORTH…
Rather than looking for someone else to carry your burdens – try eliminating the burdens you carry.
Rather than creating more and more drama in your life – try creating a life of simplicity and ease.
Rather than expecting other people to fix your issues – try learning from experience.
Rather than being dependent – try becoming independent.
Do not let someone else define the direction of your life – if you are a woman, work on being capable without a man; if you are a man, work on being comfortable without a woman – this will make you stronger, and more attractive.
If each one of us could come from a place that took responsibility for our actions; if we thought about the consequences of our desires; if we accepted the reality of life; if we created our own opinions; then we would have a far better chance of building up our own SELF WORTH which would invite a far stronger individual and a far more attractive person.
Work within reality, and your dreams will come true… one step at a time.
